245A.65 amended — subd. 1a adds 24-hour vulnerable adult determination window for mobile crisis

A new paragraph (c) in subdivision 1a creates a specific exception for mobile crisis service providers: when providing crisis stabilization services to an adult under 245I.24, subd. 9, the license holder has 24 hours from first service contact to make the required vulnerable adult determination, rather than following the standard timing under paragraph (a), clause (1). This affects any SUD program licensed to deliver mobile crisis or crisis stabilization services. Programs not providing those services are unaffected.
