DHS: Telehealth SUD billing updated: Modifier 95 added, GT on 837I removed
DHS updated the MHCP Provider Manual for SUD Telehealth Delivery. Modifier 95 (synchronous audio/video telehealth) is now the correct modifier for real-time interactive telehealth services. The prior instruction to use Modifier GT for individual and group treatment services billed on the 837I with type of bill 89X has been removed.
