Regulatory update245G.11MN Revisor·Sunday, November 1, 2026

245G.11 amended — staff qualifications revised in subds. 1, 7, 8

Subdivision 7 removes the bachelor's degree pathway for treatment coordinators, leaving only a high school diploma/equivalent or mental health practitioner status as qualifying education criteria. Subdivision 8 removes the requirement that peer recovery specialists provide services under the supervision of an alcohol and drug counselor, meaning that supervisory condition is no longer a statutory mandate for that role. Subdivision 1 is a formatting-only edit with no operational effect.
