VA Doctor's Co-Conspirators Sentenced for Fraudulent Opioid Prescription Scheme
Four Maryland residents were sentenced in federal court for conspiring with an Annandale, VA physician to distribute oxycodone, hydrocodone, and promethazine-codeine via fraudulent prescriptions filled at pharmacies across 16 states. The physician, Dr. Rotimi Iluyomade, was previously convicted. No new policy or prescribing rule changes are attached to this case.
