Telehealth: Medicare telehealth flexibilities extended through December 31, 2027
Recent legislation extends many Medicare telehealth flexibilities through December 31, 2027. This applies to Medicare-billing providers, including SUD treatment programs operating under Medicare. The extension preserves access to telehealth services that were first authorized during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
