245G.06 amended — subd. 4 discharge summary deadline excludes weekends and holidays
The five-day deadline to complete a service discharge summary now explicitly excludes weekends and holidays, giving counselors more working time after a client's service termination. This affects any program where discharges occur on or near weekends or recognized holidays. The substantive requirement to complete and offer the summary to the client on request is unchanged.
